Neighborhood Coffee Hour:  Each weekday morning from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m. coffee and doughnuts are served at the Mission.  Everyone is welcome!

Free Clothing Shop:  Clothing and household items are available without charge.  Men may come on Mondays and Thursdays from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.  Women may come on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.  Children's clothing is available during women's shopping hours.

Transition House:  The Mission operates a small transition house for men who are in recovery and returning to work.  Men are interviewed before being accepted into the program and must agree to follow the rules of the house.  A full-time supervisor is in charge of operating the house.

Afterschool Tutoring:  Elementary students from needy families receive intensive one-on-one tutoring and mentoring from volunteers.  Children who are accepted into the program come to the Mission twice a week during the school year.  Dinner and Bible time are included.  These children also participate in summer activities organized by the Mission.

Youth Support Groups:  Middle School and High School youth come to the Mission for Bible studies and activities.

Women's Bible Fellowship: Ladies from Near North Village and Sangamon Towers meet in the parlor at the Mission twice each month. They enjoy a Bible study and luncheon.

New Mission Church of God:  Led by Dr. Wesley McNeese, pastor and emergency physician who also works at SIU School of Medicine, this congregation meets in the chapel at the Mission.  Sunday morning services are held as well as a Wednesday evening prayer meeting.  Everyone is welcome to join this active, growing church.
